Vegas part 2

...I FaceTimed her back and I told her I too was in Vegas. We watched shows inside like Ká and Chris Angel inside out hotel. It was a nice time to stay inside and do really fun stuff safe and sound. Our way back home was tramendous, it was a big California fire. The fire slowed us down about 4 hours in time. We stayed in a long line of traffic that barely moved while we watched the Suns rays being covered in fire ashes. It was orange, very orange and bright  (picture Above  that I took that day) It was a very long line of cars. We listened to the news station and heard a car went on fire leading the desert area to be covered in flames. When we finnaly got home we were glad to be in our own home without any issues of natural disasters leading us to be in scarce. My friend had left that morning but we left about a week after. We spent most time in our hotel but it was still a lot of fun!!! We got to do so many things in our hotel and we're glad we did! My family and I goes to Vegas a lot and it's always an interesting trip because we go for shows and such not for my parents to go gambling... Well next time I go to Las Vegas will probably be over one of these holiday breaks. Don't be fooled when you see another blog talking about going to Vegas because it sue will be soon!!! Till next time!

Scary lightning trip!!!

Hello, and welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to talk about the time my family and I went to Las Vegas. So it was June 2015 and my family and I went Las Vegas Nevada. It was about 8:00 p.m it was dark and gloomy out. By this time we were already in Nevada but just about 30 minutes away from Vegas. I stared at the time watching it change by every minute. I Watched the cars GPS system count down the time left until we arrived at our hotel. I waited and waited. About 20 minutes left my phones light flashed, I check because this meant I had a notification. It was a text from my friend saying, "Guess what?!". I didn't know if I would be able to reply because we were driving through an empty desert, glaring at the cities lights from afar. I had about one bar and as I replied, "what?" I got another notification, "message to ________ failed to send" I put my phone down and checked the time once more. 15 minutes left, I sighed and gently pressed my head against the window. "WOW!' My sister said, "did you guys see that?!". I questioned back "See what? I do not see anything" "Lightning she said, "Lightning in that mountain far back!" My mother replied yes, I saw it!! I looked and saw a small, short, mountain in the far back desert looking pretty gloomy, bright, dazling, I knew it was bound to come back so I just waited, it was something to entertain me for the next 15 minutes. There it was, a bright light coming from that mountain, it was magnificent, amazing, jaw-opening. It seemed so unreal, It was bright yellow almost white, thunder roared along with it. It was amazing. I haven't seen something like it. Every time we saw it, it seemed to get closer, louder, more visible. But luckily we have already been in the city, made safely for thunderstorms and lighting strikes. I know this makes it worse due to electricity and metal and such but it was better then being alone in the desert where it had actually been hitting. The next day, we decided to go swimming, now all of this was different, the weather channels said nothing of this. We got to the pool and it was bright, sunny, filled with people, kids, adults. It was hot and sunny, no wind. All of a sudden it becomes dark like a solar eclipse, everyone pounders up to the sky and palm trees woosh and shake and we get out of the pool along with others. Whistles begin to blow from lifeguards screaming "INSIDE EVERYONE, LIGHTNING IS COMING  IT HAS STRUCK A NEAR BY MOUNTAIN, EVERYONE IN!!!" People begin running not to care a bit they are soaking wet. We get back to our room and the streets are loud with the wind and empty. I check my phone and see about 3 messages from my friend that has texted me the night before. "I'm in vegas!"- About 3 hours ago. "Turn on the news, lighting is striking pretty close here"-About 1 hour ago. "Lightning storms are freaking me out over here!"-About 25 minutes ago. And one missed facetime call.

Road trip to Texas!

Hello everyone, today is the day I talk to you about the 25/26 hour road trip my family and I had, hope you enjoy! It was about 3:00 a.m when my family and I loaded the car with our lugages and drove all the way to Texas. It was dark and gloomy outside when my sister fell back asleep and I could not wait to get there so I put some music on and just glared out the window. My mother tried to keep my father from not getting bored on this such long drive and they spoke while I had my headphones in and my sister was fast asleep. My family and I were all heading over to Texas for thanksgiving because we have two of our families that live over there. It was not just my sister mother father and I but it was my aunts, uncles, cousin, and even my grandma who all went over there. We only had about two/three stops  to catch up with my Anuts uncles cousins and grandma who were in different cars to use the restroom and get some food. We continued our long drive and finally we got to Texas after passing through Arizona, Mexico, Utah, etc. We got into this private community and we're excited to tell the security guard letting people enter the names of our family members and as soon as that security guard called them to see if we were allowed to enter, they got super happy and joyed. My cousins and I all got a house tour, saw our rooms and our cousins helped us put our stuff Inside. By this time it was about 9:00 p.m and it was almost pitch black outside. We all fell asleep but our parents stayed up and had time to chat with each other as adults. Our first morning there, only one of our aunts was there. Just her and all my cousins, we all asked were our parents have been and she said "You guys do not know? You didn't hear?" And we all shook our heads no. She said, their all in the hospital, you're father has broke his leg in 17 places. My sister began to cry I didn't know exactly why. I kind of gave a confused look and said "my father?" She said yes, he broke it last night about an hour after you guys got here. We all headed to the hospital and met everyone there. It was about two days before thanksgiving and he broke it way to much he had to stay in the hospital for about a week and we were only gonna be in Texas for a week! He stayed in the hospital as well did some of my aunts and uncles. That morning, my sister and I had the curiosity to know what exactly happened, we knew he slipped but where, how? We figured out that since it was so dark outside, he went out and the grass was wet, slipped back, landed on his side and his leg was bent out the wrong way but the fall was so hard the impact of it made his bone shatter. Well we spent thanksgiving in the hospital room but it sure was a thanksgiving to remember!!! He got a plane back to California about 2 weeks after my mom drove us back to California. It was not the best trip because the whole time my parents weren't with us, they were in the hospital!!! The only part of Texas they got to see was the hospital!!! Well that was about 4 years ago and it's a memory to look back on!!! Oh and on the way back, my about 6 month old cousin was in the car with us and would not stop crying it was such a painful trip. We stopped in Alberqurcue and it was only about 20 degrees  Fahrenheit!!! Well I hope you enjoyed that story! Till next time!!
