Getting a nail stuck in me
Hi everyone today I'm gonna tell you about the time about I got a nail stuck in my foot. So I do not know how this happened but it was painful. Now here's the story, I would walk normally and it would hurt just on the ball of my foot. I looked down and saw my foot was swollen and red. My toenail was lifted up a bit but it looked normal just not that it was lifted up off my skin. My mom said it wasn't normal and she took me to the ER, they said a nail went underneath my toenail and that to take it out it would be another operation. So we had an appointment and went that day. I left school early for this because it could only be done in school hours. They put a few Anastasia shots and asked if I wanted to watch or lean back. I wanted to watch because it just is better for me. I won't get into full detail because it could be a health hazard for those who do not like blood and such. So anyways I watched and he said the shots were for after because it would hurt a lot. So I felt everything when they pulled it out. They got a sharp tweezer thing and cut off half of my nail to get the nail out. This didn't have a certain name it was just having a nail stuck beneath my toenail. I held in the pain and as soon as I got up I felt very dizzy everything got light and I heard echoes when people spoke. I almost fainted not from watching but from loosing a lot of blood. I walked outside with my dad around the hospital to get a fresh breath of air. They had a farmers market going on so we got some strawberries and sat down. I had my foot In a bandage and till this day I still do and this was about 2-3 weeks ago. I have to do a treatment every day twice a day for two to three months to heal my foot. The day after the procedure I went to school but I wore sandals and it was fun because I felt special besides the fact I was in pain. Well that's the story for everyone hope it didn't gross you out it wasn't gross just painful!! Till next time everyone!
